Summer Grilling

pizza

One thing we like to do so we don’t heat up the kitchen in the summer is pizza on the grill. It’s super easy and fast no need to worry. I put olive oil on a sheet pan spread out the dough (here it’s Trader Joes) brush the top with a little oil too. Next sprinkle with sea salt, pepper and some parmesan. The grill is set on a low heat and you just slide the dough out onto the grill. Don’t move it until it releases. You can use tongs and lift an end to check. Then you flip it with the tongs don’t worry the parmesan stays. At this point you can put the toppings on, this one is just fresh mozzarella and tomatoes let it finish cooking then slide it back onto the sheet pan here we added basil, yep pizza Marguerita. Also, a little something wonderful we’ve been using this summer is smoked salt to finish dishes and it is soooo good, check it out here!
