My goodness I can’t believe the Easter weekend is over and it’s back to the same old same old. What a wonderfully fun weekend, I hope you had a good time too. So happy that our daughter switched plans on us and came home! We really packed those four days full.
We even squeezed in some egg dying. I know it would seem that once your kid isn’t little that it wouldn’t be necessary but I think we’ve dyed more eggs over the last few years with her friends than we ever did when she was little.
Isn’t there is something wonderful about things that smell like Easter-vanilla, chocolate and vinegar? Is it just me or do those scents get you too at Easter?
I picked up a random box of dye and it wasn’t the best dye we ever used, cough. I mean look at those eggs after a few dips and realizing that the dye wasn’t cutting it they got the fastest dips ever. Oh well on to egg salad…
But I was really liking was the dye in the bowl and on the paper towels so…I drug out some watercolor paper and we did these instead. Hmmm a new tradition? I’m going back for more dye-look at those colors :)
Linking up with Lisa Leonard go over and check out her farmers markets pics!
