When I move it’s best for me not to spend too much time dwelling on what I’m packing but…
We came across my husbands matchbook collection and pulled just the Columbus, Ohio books out. You know my husband was a 70′s kid if he collected matches of course they were everywhere even from the pharmacy and the local department store. I mean what better place is there than the pharmacy to pick up a pack of smokes and of course every good department store had a smoking lounge. If you were in Columbus in the 70′s this is a fun photo to peruse. Any favs?
Mine: The Clock our first big date, Kahiki the rainforest, ChiChi’s of course the chimichanga, Lawson’s a pound of chipped chopped ham please, Frisch’s Sunday breakfast, Playboy Club my father said I could work there if I had any boobs (there are several things wrong with that haha again the 70′s), The Wine Cellar for grown ups, Le Cafe -Titus S. saved our college age butts from starvation, oh I could go on and on.
I love this. So many great memories of places of our hometown. I will alway love Columbus!
